All should have equal access to high-quality and reliable infrastructure. By 2020, everyone should have affordable access to the internet.

Industry shall use clean and environmentally sound technologies and processes. Developing countries will be supported to diversify their industries. They should be able to process their own raw materials and thus keep the added value in their own country.

Scientific research is to be improved and innovation promoted.
