In the two regions of Bern-Mittelland and Seeland - Jura bernois, the Swiss Red Cross of the Canton of Bern has been helping asylum seekers, temporarily admitted persons and refugees to find their way in their new environment and culture, learn the language and find a job since 1 July 2020.

The offer includes social counselling on health, school systems, childcare. Professional job coaches support people in their job search. Self-reliance is strengthened through needs-based accommodation, language workshops and housing search.
