SDG 10: REDUCE INEQUALITY
Income inequality is to be reduced.
All people, regardless of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, origin, religion, economic or other status, should be able to lead a self-determined life and participate in social, cultural, political and economic life.
Tax systems and wage policy measures should be designed to reduce inequalities. Migration should be safe, orderly, regular and responsible.
Current situation:
Worldwide: In the fourth quarter of 2020, the average costs of sending USD 200 to LMICs remained high at 6.58 per cent, well above the target of 3 per cent of the Sustainable Development Goal 10.c.1 (Migration Data Portal)
Switzerland: 70% of women with disabilities are in employment (2015 data). Compared to men with disabilities (78%) and women without disabilities (83%), they are less represented in the labour market. (German and French: BfS: Erwerbsbeteiligung von Menschen mit Behinderungen)
