The book mine, just a few minutes' walk from Bern station, is a huge antiquarian bookshop, a place where books live their second life and wait for readers. Spread over two basement floors, you can find real treasures - just like in a mine.

The book mine is a project of the Swiss Workers' Relief Association SAH Bern for the social and professional integration of the unemployed, social welfare recipients and refugees.
