Stöckacher Süd is a prime example of urban housing construction and a pilot project in terms of ecological and sustainable standards. The development is built according to the MINERGIE-P-ECO standard and certified as a 2000-watt site.

The buildings are heated with heat pumps and geothermal probes. Biogas and solar collectors are used for hot water.
